Rainforest Bulletin Board Jungle Theme Classroom Rainforest Theme Preschool Activities July 3, 2021 by holly rachel. a jungle classroom is one of my favorite decor themes. animal related themes are always a big hit with students and a jungle theme is so much fun. it sparks students’ imagination and is perfect to use as writing inspiration. not only that, but it is also a great starting point for plants, animals and habitat. Rainforest theme flowers. we enjoyed making the flowers for the rainforest theme bulletin board. we needed : a paper plate; some bright coloured paint; petals cut out of bright coloured paper. [the kids can do this if their cutting skills are up to it!] some classroom white glue or pritt stick. Rain forest layers in a bottle. materials needed: 2 liter soda bottle, gravel, charcoal, potting soil, plastic wrap, small plant (such as prayer plant, baby tears, artillery plant) and duct tape. in advance: remove label from the soda bottle. cut away the top part of the bottle just before is stops flaring out. Cut off the bottom and top of a 2 liter soda bottle (throw away the middle). mix gravel with charcoal and layer it in the bottom of the soda bottle. add a layer of potting soil. sprinkle with water. plant the plants and arrange stones, moss, and a plastic rainforest animal. water every few weeks.
