It's an unofficial, but valuable extension of the myanimelist community. popular anime that i think are overrated. i wouldn’t really say demon slayer is overrated. half of people like it, other half say it’s mid, so it’s pretty evenly rated. this by far one of the worst things i've ever seen this year. But tbh that sounds more like underseen or even disliked, cuz a majority of the world reveres that series. "underrated" gets thrown around like crazy on the internet. it feels like when you say underrated people rated it poorly then years afterward people bring attention to it, being poorly rated even though it is great, like god hand. Underrated: bastard season 2, it's a nexflix anime but it's actually super good. dare i even say it has the best protagonist in all of anime. this season is also a lot better than part 1 and 2. overrated: zom100, its not bad but i cant really relate the the struggles and thoughts of the protagonist.

I think you mean "anime that's underwatched, but overrated". 100% disagree about parasyte, as it's top 50 popularity on myanimelist, which is extremely popular, with almost 1.500.000 members. while it's one of my favorites, the first thing that comes to mind for me, is legend of the galactic heroes:. 22. space dandy. it’s safe to say that this is a pretty wacky series. with some oddities and randomness i find it easy to believe that this slipped through the cracks of anime pop culture. still, there is a lot to find interesting things to check out in the series.
